The invisibility of older generations is a veritable issue, and yet old age is a gift. In light of the progressive ageing of the worldwide population, I want to celebrate the golden years; particularly in the youth-obsessed world of fashion, I wish to demonstrate that when it comes to style, older might well be wiser...


Now That I’m Older

Sufjan Stevens may only be in his mid-30s but this is still a charming song about ‘old age’ - as he calls it - and about reflection and hindsight. This is a version I saw live at l’Olympia, Paris, last May.
